Nikki studied dentistry at Kings College London and graduated with Honours in 2008. She was awarded the Gold Medal for highest achievement by a dental student in the Universities of London in 2008. After completing Vocational Training in Surrey, she carried out senior house officer posts in Guy's Hospitals in both Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery.

Nikki carried out specialist training in Oral Surgery in the Eastman Dental Hospital from 2013-2016, after which she was entered on to the GDC specialist list. During her time at the Eastman, she was awarded Junior Doctor of the Year.

Following this, she worked as a Consultant Oral Surgeon at the Eastman Dental Hospital. She has carried out numerous research papers, particularly in her area of interest, which is Osteonecrosis of the jaws. In 2018, she was part of the Guideline Development Group for the Royal College of Surgeons and contributed to the guidelines for the Oral Management of Oncology Patients.

Nikki also holds positions of Clinical Adviser and Expert Clinical Witness for the General Dental Council.

Nikki also has a keen interest in dental education and has a Lead Examiner role for the Overseas Registration Examination in the UK. She has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical and Dental Education and she regularly organises and runs Oral Surgery Courses for General Dental Practitioners nationwide.

In her spare time, Nikki enjoys playing the flute and piano. She also enjoys dancing, reading and spending time with her family.
